UDHAMPUR, June 7: Two persons attempted suicide by consuming poison under mysterious circumstances, here today while three persons were injured in separate road accidents.
According to the police reports, Kewal Krishan (46), son of Kaka Ram of Thathi, consumed some poisonous substance at his home. The family members noticed him in serious condition and rushed him to District Hospital Udhampur. Doctors referred him to GMC Jammu in view of his serious condition.
In another case of poisoning, Kanav (21), son of Nek Ram of Jhajjar Kotli Jammu, consumed some poisonous substance at Domail Udhampur. People noticed him lying on the roadside in serious condition. They rushed him to District Hospital Udhampur, where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu.
Meanwhile, three persons were injured in different road accidents, here today.
A Motorcycle skidded off the road near village Sui Sambal resulting into injuries to motorcyclist Prem Chand, son of Shalo Ram of village Sui.
In another road accident, a Scooty was hit by a Bolero car at by pass National Highway near Modi Ground Battal Balian. Police rush the spot and shifted the injured to District Hospital Udhampur. The injured was identified as Sanjay Kumar (38) son of Bansi Lal of Battal Balian Udhampur.
In a collision between a motorcycle and Tata Indica at Omara Morh National Highway Udhampur, one Vishal Singh (26) son of Sandokh Singh of Kambal Danga was injured.
