JAMMU, Nov 11: Two persons were arrested with 40 grams heroin and Rs 35,000 cash.
As per police sources, during routine checking at Nanak Nagar, a team from Gandhi Nagar Police Station intercepted a car bearing registration number JK02X-1603.
During checking, police team recovered 40 grams heroin and Rs 35,000 cash from the two persons traveling in the car and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Ashfaq Ahmed, son of Mohammad Yousaf of Dooru, District Anantnag and Narinder Pal, son of late Daler Singh of Jawahar Nagar District Rajouri, at present Nanak Nagar, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 189/2020 under section 8/21/22/27-A/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started.
