RAMBAN, Apr 6: Forest Department seized around 75 kilograms of banned forest produce and arrested two persons.
According to official sources, on reliable information, the sleuths of Forest Department intercepted a Jammu bound bus bearing registration number JK02BK-5677.
During checking, the sleuths recovered around 75 kilograms of banned forest produce from the possession of two persons and arrested them.
The arrested persons have been identified as Tsering Tundup and Sonam Dorjay.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered and investigation started.
Forest officials’ team led by Range Officer Batote Surinder Chib and Forester Harveer Singh made the arrest under the supervision of DFO Batote Amrik Singh.
