JAMMU, Apr 6: Jammu Kashmir Lab Technician Employees’ Association (JKLTEA), Jammu province today projected burning demands of the lab technicians in a press conference held here at Press Club.
Addressing the press conference, Choudhary Aslam, president, JKLTEA, raised various issues pertaining to the cadre. He demanded immediate issuance of DPC orders of all the categories, extension of technical cadre to lab technicians, risk allowance to lab technicians and amendment of SRO 20.
He further stressed for creation of posts of Junior Lab Technicians, Senior Lab Technicians, Superior Lab Technician, Head Lab Technician and Technical Lab Officer in health institutions. He appealed the Government and higher authorities to redress their demands at the earliest.
The JKLTEA president also extended his full support to JKMEF’s protest dharna, which is scheduled to be held at DHS complex on April 12.
