SRINAGAR, Nov 11: Two Army porters were killed after an avalanche hit Gulmarg today.
An avalanche hit Hemat Post of Army, 35 kilometers from Gulmarg today trapping two porters Ishfaq Ahmad and Sajjad Ahmad of Boniyar in Uri and working for 11 Gharwal Regiment of the Army. Army launched a rescue operation to trace the missing porters.
They later found two dead bodies from the snow. The bodies were brought to Gulmarg in a chopper this evening.
