JAMMU, Oct 24: Sahodya Jammu held a meeting under the chairmanship of its President Trilok Singh Bist.
The meeting was attended by Vijay Puri, Treasurer Sahodaya Jammu, Director Academics, KC Gurukul School, Rohini Aima, PRO Sahodaya Jammu and Principal-cum-Vice Chairperson Jammu Sanskriti School, SK Singh, Technical Officer Sahodaya Jammu and Vivek Arora, Principal Bhargava Public School Samba. Col Kaushal, Principal, Sainik School Nagrota and KCS Mehta, Principal APS Akhnoor were also available on call conferencing.
In this meeting, Trilok Singh Bist, Principal Jodhamal Public School and President Sahodaya Schools Complex Jammu Chapter, Venue Director and National Coordinator of All India Edu Leader’s Forum, informed that the Jammu and Kashmir has been chosen to host the 1st Regional Conference of All India Edu Leader’s Forum, wherein almost 400 Principals, Vice Principals, Coordinators and Administrators are participating. It will be held at Police Auditorium, Jammu on November 8, he added
After the successful 1st All India Edu-leaders Conference at New Delhi, the Forum has decided to have four Regional Conferences and one National Conference per year to prepare schools for the future, he informed.
He stated that it is a proud privilege for entire Jammu and Kashmir State to host such a prestigious Conference wherein the Principals from all over the India i.e. Punjab, Haryana, Uttrakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Orissa, New Delhi and J&K are participating. Some Principals from Kerala, Chennai and Karnataka are also participating in this Conference.
The Agenda of the conference will include discussion on Academic Excellence in Schools by G Balasubramanyam, Ex-Director Education, CBSE, Every Child Matters-Quality Leadership for Inclusive Schools by Prof Marmar Mukhopadyay, Former Prof from NCERT, New Delhi and Microsoft Schools for 21st Century by Microsoft Director.
