JAMMU, Nov 29: On the last day of withdrawal of the nominations under 4th phase of Assembly Elections in the State,182 candidates remained in fray in 18 Assembly Constituencies of the districts of Srinagar, Anantnag , Shopian and Samba for which polling is scheduled on December 14. Thirteen candidates out of 195 have withdrawn their nominations from different constituencies.
In Hazratbal Constituency, 12 candidates remained in fray including Miss Asiea (PDP), Syed Ahmad (INC), Adil Mustafa Khan (NPP), Mohammad Syed Akhoon (NC), Masood -Ul- Hassan (BJP) Ghulam Ahmad Shalla (ABHMS), Mirza Sajad Hussain (RJKP), Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi (JKKMP) Altaf Hussain Dar (Ind) Javeed Ahmad Tota (Ind), Khalid Tufail (Ind) and Ghulam Nabi Dar (Ind),.
In Zadibal Constituency, 13 candidates are in fray. They are Peer Afaq Ahmad (NC), Shameema Raina (INC), Abid Hussain Ansari (PDP), Neelam Gaash (BJP), Hakim Mohammad Afzal (Rashtriya Jan Kranti), Mohammad Ashraf Dar (PC), Arshid Hussain (Ind), Saleem Akhtar Malik (Ind), Syed Owais Qadri (Ind), Syed Maqsood Husain (Ind), Shahid Ali Kachroo (Ind), Nisar Ahmed Ahangar (Ind) and Nazir-ud-din Ahmad (Ind) .
In Idgah Constituency, 08 Candidates are in fray after withdrawals. They are Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan (INC), Ali Mohammad Wani (PDP), Mubarak Ahmad Gul (NC), Irfan Ahmad Matoo (JKPC), Mohammad Ashraf Khan (JKKMP), Ghulam Mohammad Rather (Ind) Fayaz Ahmad Bhat (Ind) and Mehraj-ud-Din Bhat (Ind).
Ashok Kumar Bhat (BJP), Ali Mohd Sagar (NC), Mohammad Khurshid Alam (PDP) Mohammad Yaqub Vakil (INC), Bilal Ahmad Wani (Ind), Firdous Ahmad Sheikh (Ind) are in fray in Khanyar constituency while as 11 candidates namely, Raman Mattoo (INC), Zahid Bashir (NCP), Shamim Firdous (NC), Zafar Meraj (PDP), Moti Koul (BJP), Sanjay Saraf (LJS), Bilal Ahmad Parra (Ind), Parviaz Ahmad Bhat (Ind), Mohd Muneeb Bhat (Ind), Nazir Ahmad Gilkar (Ind) and Waseem Ahmad Shalla (Ind) are in fray in Habbakadal.
In Amirakadal Constituency, 14 candidates namely Hina Shafi Bhat (BJP), Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari (PDP), Syed Masood Ahmad Andrabi (JKNPP), Sheikh Amir Rasool (INC), Nasir Aslam Wani (NC), Shafaat Ahmad Sidiqi (JKPC), Azad Abdul Samad Mandu (Ind) Bikram Singh (Ind), Zeeshan Pandith (Ind), Sushant Bakshi (Ind), Shakeel Ahmad Wani (Ind), Ghulam Hassan Dar (Ind), Farooq Ahmad Khan (Ind), and Younis Qawam (Ind) are in fray.
In Sonawar Constituency 14 candidates namely Dr Darakhshan Andrabi (BJP), Omar Abdullah (NC), Farooq Ahmad Dar (NPP), Khem Lata Wakhlu (INC), Mohammad Ashraf Mir (PDP), Amjad Ali Buhroo (IFB), Riyaz Ahmad Wani (JKKMP), Abdul Rashid Lone (RPI), Laldin Mir (JKPC), Mohammad Younis Najar (Rashtriya Jan Kranti), Parveez Jamaal (Ind), Peer Bilal Ahmad (Ind) Gowhar Ahmad Malik (Ind) and Malik Noorul Amin (Ind) will contest elections.
In Batamaloo Constituency, 16 candidates namely Bashir Ahmad Wani (JKNPP), Zubair Nazir Wani (BJP), Abdul Hamid Rather (INC), Mohammad Irfan Shah (NC), Mohammad Maqbool Rather (BSP), Noor Mohammad Sheikh (PDP), Sajad Ahmad Reshi (JKPP(S), Showkat Ahmad Bhat (All J&K Kissan Mazdoor Party), Abdul Qayoom Bhat (DPN), Gulzar Ahmad Bangroo (SP), Muzzaffar Ahmad Gazi (PC), Javaid Ahmad Dandroo (Ind), Reyaz Ahmad Mir (Ind), Mehbooba Shadab (Ind), Mohammad Adil Hussain Dar (Ind) and Mohammad Maqbool Sheikh (Ind) are in fray.
In Wachi Constituency, 10 candidates namely, Mahroof Ahmad Wani (INC), Tariq Ahmad Mir (BJP) Zahoor Ahmad Rather (CPIM), Aijaz Ahmad Mir(PDP), Mohd Yousuf Mir (JKNPP), Showkat Hussain Ganie (NC), Ahsan-Ul-Haq (JKPC), Mohd Yaqoob Malik (J&K Republican Party) Mohd Khalil Naik (AIP),and Kulbushan Kaw (Ind) remained in fray.
10 candidates namely, Javaid Ahmad Qadri (BJP), Abdul Rashid Pandit (CPI), Mushtaq Ahmad Khanday (INC), Shah Fayaz Ahmed (NPP), Sheikh Mohammad Rafi (NC),Mohd Yousaf Bhat, (PDP), Mohammad Yaqoob Rather (All J&K Republican) Shabir Ahmed Kullay (Ind), Tariq Ahmad Ahanger (Ind) and Mohd Yousuf Haji (Ind) will contest elections from Shopian and 8 candidates namely Iftikhar Hussain Misgar (NC), Mohammad Rafiq Wani (BJP), Mufti Mohammad Syeed (PDP), Farooq Ahmad Mir (BSP), Hilal Ahmad Shah (INC), Mohd Shafi Mir (All J&K Republican Party), Ghulam Rasool Dar (Ind) and Nasir Ali Koachk (Ind) are in fray in Anantnag.
In Dooru Constituency, 10 candidates namely, Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi (PDP), Gh. Ahmad Mir (INC), Farooq Ahmad Ganie (NC), Gull Mohammad Mir (BJP), Mohd Yousuf Ganaie (JKNPP), Suhail Malik (JKPC), Ab. Ahad Mir (IPCP), Farooq Ahmad Gashroo (HJP) Syed Rasheed Ahmad (Ind) and Syed Shariq Hussain (Ind) are in fray.
Seven candidates namely, Khurshid Ahmad Mailk (BJP), Abdul Rahim Rather(PDP), Gh. Nabi Bhat(NC), Peerzada Mohammad Syed (INC), Mohd Yousuf Ganie(JKNPP), Javid Ahmad Rather(JKRP-Ind) and Ghulam Hassan Khanday (Ind) are in fray in Kokernag and 9 candidates namely Gulzar Ahmad Wani (INC), Khalid Muzaffar Maqbool Dar (BJP), Ishfaq Ahmad Shah (JKNPP), Peerzada Mansoor Hussain (PDP), Reyaz Ahmad Khan (NC), Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat ,Bashir Ahmad Wani, Mohd Yousf Ganie, and Tanveer Hussain Khan as Independent Candidates will contest elections from Shangus.
In Bijbehara Constituency, 5 candidates remained in fray. They are Dr. Bashir Ahmad Shah (NC), Pushkar Nath Pandit (BJP), Abdul Rehman Bhat (PDP), and Mushtaq Ahmad Sheikh, (BSP) and Manzoor Ahmad Ganai (INC).
In Pahalgam Constituency, 7 candidates namely, Altaf Ahmad Wani (NC), Rafi Ahmad Mir (PDP), Shabir Ahmad Shah (BSP) Irfan Abid Bhat (INC), Sofi Yousuf (BJP), Anwar Jan (JKPC) and Farooq Ahmad Rather (Ind) are in fray while as 8 candidates namely Dr. Davinder Kumar Manyal (BJP) Subash Chander, (INC), Satwant Kour (NC), Som Nath (BSP), Sunny Sangral (PDP), Vijay Kumar Atri (NCP) Yashpaul Kundal (JKNPP) and Darshan Kumar (Bahujan Mukti Party) to contest elections from Samba.
In Vijaypur Constituency, 14 candidates namely, Jagdish Raj (BSP), Chander Parkash (BJP), Manjit Singh (INC), Rajesh Kumar Pargotra (JKNPP) Surjeet Singh Slathia (NC) Harmesh Singh Slathia (PDP), Jeet Ram (Bahujan Mukti Party) Kamal Kishore (Hindustan Janta Party), Ajad Hussain (Ind), Bahadur Singh Chowdhary (Ind), Raj Singh (Ind), Rajan Jamwal (Ind), Sanjeev Kumar (Ind) and Kuldeep Kumar (Ind) are in fray.
