JAMMU, Aug 2: Technocrats TIT, which is the oldest educational group of central India placed over 1800 students of its engineering institutes in reputed multinational companies.
About 205 multinational companies such as TCS, Centel, Vipro, Cap-Gemini, Mu Sigma, Emphasis, L&T, Infotech, Hinduja- Global, Solution, Amejan, Nestle, Volvo and Eicher participated in the -placement drive and selected 1,801 students from all four engineering colleges of the Group.
The package given by these companies had been highly remarkable, Rs 24 lakh being the highest and Rs 5 lakh average. The Group has been awarded and honoured by the MP Governor Ramnaresh Yadav, due to highest placement in MP and awards on account of alternate campus drive.
Technocrats TIT owns four Engineering Colleges, two Pharmacy Colleges and One MBA College, which are recognized from AICTE, New Delhi and MP Government. Two pharmacy colleges are also recognized by PCI. All engineering colleges are affiliated from Rajeev Gandhi Technical University, a Technical University of MP. This group also has a Management College, affiliated by Barkatullah University. MCA and Diploma in Computer Courses are conducted in engineering colleges.
TIT Rajeev Gandhi Technical University also conducts PhD courses in CSE, EC, IT, Power Electronics and Computer Application. This Group also conducts B Pharm consisting of 240 seats, M-Pharma in 4 branches: consist of 100 seats, MBA comprises of 780 seats and MCA consists of 180 seats.
The Group comprised of a vast area of 15 lakh square feet buildings, 350 smart classrooms, 605 laboratories, 4581 linovo/hp core, 45643 computers 100 MBPS Internet facility, Facility of online exam to 2000 students in one go, CAT, GATE – Exam centre. The Group comprised of 7 libraries, each consists of 512 books having reputed infrastructure of e-general IEEE, Alxaviour, ASME, ASCE and Denlet facilities scholarship facilities are also available here.
