JAMMU, Mar 4: Around 176 Kanal of Government land was retrieved today from the clutches of illegal encroachers in Kot Bhalwal area.
The anti-encroachment drive was taken out today by a joint team of Jammu Development Authority (JDA) and Gharota police led by SDPO Akhnoor, Ajay Sharma in Kot and Bhalwal villages.
In the presence of huge deployment of police, JDA officers along with their men and machinery removed encroachments from a huge chunk of Government land under illegal occupation of people.
In the day-long operation, around 176 kanal of JDA land was retrieved.
