SAMBA, Aug 22: As many 17 villages of Ghagwal tehsil of district samba remained without power supply during intervening night of 21 and 22 August. It is pertinent to mention that these areas always remain without electricity or transport facilities after rains. On 21 August flood in the Bain nallah abrupt buses to cross the nallah. People forced to stay at other bank of nallah till 11 pm. The power supply was cut at 4 pm and whole night remain off. The people demanded the clearance of power lines so that they get uninterrupted power supply. Murari Lal Sharma, Ganesh Dass, Gian Chand, Ajay Kumar and Tej Ram demanded the regular supply of power and said that Nichla, Samthyal, Odh, Solah, Surara, Rattanpur, Gungad, Patyari, Ratwana, Krarki, Dasian, Karmichi, Barla and Bdah are badly affected villages.
