RAJOURI, Aug 22: Pradesh Youth Congress under the leadership of its State president Pranav Shagotra held protest demonstration here against the utter failure of State Government to resolve BGSB University stalemate and tackle border firing.
The Youth Congress workers raised slogans against the Government and also burnt the effigy of the Modi Government. While addressing the gathering Mr Pranav lambasted the State Government lead by Chief Minister Mufti Mohd Sayeed who is also the Chancellor of BGSBU for shielding the main accused in scholarship scam Registrar BGSBU, who is leaving no stone unturned to hide the misdeeds committed during his tenure.
PYC leader claimed that on one side Government is speaking very high of eradicating corruption and on the other side whole Government is involved shielding some blue eyed people to defame the institution.
He also criticized the Government for its failure with regard to foreign policy and dealing with Pakistan. He condemned Pak firing in Balakot where half a dozen civilians were killed. Paramjeet Singh, Charanjeet Singh, Sandeep Singh, Chetan Wanchoo, Ramnik Singh, Zaheer Abbas and Shoket Ali also addressed workers.
