16 injured in road mishap

UDHAMPUR, Sept 8: Sixteen passengers were injured when a bus rammed into a roadside retaining wall near Kulsoth in Panchari, here today.
The bus bearing registration number JK02S-6857, was on its way from Ladda to Udhampur when driver lost control over the vehicle resulting into the accident, this morning around 9:15 am. Locals and Panchari police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to Primary Health Canter (PHC) Moungri.
The injured were identified as Badri Nath (23), son of Kheam Raj, Poarn Singh (23) son of Lada, Pardeep Kumar (22) son of Kapoor Chand, Reeta Devi (34) wife of Nasib Raj, Kanta Devi (18), Dara Singh (38) son of Jaga, Gyatri Devi (41) wife of Shambu Ram, Daleep Singh (36) son of Chuni Lal, Neelam Devi (23) wife of Ratan Lal, Rakesh Singh (19) son of Gurdi Singh (all resident of Ladda), Rashu Devi (11) daughter of Talik Raj, Sharani (14) Subash Singh, Ajay Singh (15) son of Shatir Singh, Surjeet Singh (13) son of Pritam Singh, Kalmesh Devi (16) daughter of Talik Raj, Pooja Devi (16) daughter of Pritam Singh (all resident of Upper Kulsoth).
