JAMMU, Dec 24: Sixteen passengers were injured today when a mini-bus turned turtle in Khour block of Jammu district.
“At about 10 AM today, a mini-bus bearing registration number JK02Q- 5386 which was on its way from Battal to Khour Town turned turtle on the road at village Sailanwali, resulting into injuries to 16 passengers of the vehicle,” a police official said.
All the injured were shifted to Primary Health Centre Pallanwala for treatment from where three seriously injured persons namely Sheelo Devi (55) wife of late Parkash Chand of Seri Palai, Neha Sharma (22) wife of Suresh Kumar of Battal and Priyanka Devi (22) daughter of Harbans Lal of Bandowala, were referred to GMC Hospital Jammu.

Other injured were identified as Wali son of Faqir of Kalah, Vijay Kumari (20) daughter of Rattan Lal and Bindu Sharma (18) daughter of Janak, both residents of Kalah, Dimple Kumari daughter of Kaku Ram of Malal, Surishta Devi wife of Vinay Kumar of Seri Palai, Sushil Kumar son of Sheru Ram of Dhakar, Sunita Sharma daughter of Suresh Kumar of Battal, Gopal Singh son of Naar Singh of Seri Palai, Anuradha daughter of Gopal Dass of Kalah, Preeti Devi daughter of Bhagwan Dass of Seri Palai, Bandhana Devi daughter of Om Parkash of Kalah, Nisha Devi daughter of Sat Pal of Kalah and Anjali Devi daughter of Manga Ram of Kalah.
In this connection, the concerned police had registered a case and started investigations.
