JAMMU, May 16: The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has announced a 15-day summer break for District Courts falling in the summer zone of Jammu province from June 8 to June 22, 2026, both days inclusive.
According to the notification issued by the office of the Registrar General, the vacation will apply to courts in the summer zone of Jammu province, except courts located in District Kishtwar, District Doda and courts at Batote, Gool, Banihal and Ukhral in District Ramban, besides Bani in District Kathua.
The Principal District and Sessions Judges and Chief Judicial Magistrates of the concerned districts shall make suitable arrangements for handling urgent criminal business during the vacation period.
