JAMMU, Sept 19: Acting tough against the violators of prohibitory orders issued by the Government in wake of COVID-19 pandemic, Jammu Police have fined violators for not wearing masks in Jammu district.
149 violators were fined for not wearing masks in Jammu district under the jurisdiction of different police stations and fine to the tune of Rs 74,500 was collected from them. Jammu Police have again requested the general public to follow the directions issued by Government in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Those who are found violating the restrictions will be dealt strictly.
