UDHAMPUR, July 2: A 13-year old girl was allegedly raped by a man in Majalta area of Udhampur district.
A written complaint in this regard was lodged by father of the minor girl at Police Station Majalta after which a case FIR number 44/16, under Section 376 CrPC was registered.
The victim has been sent to District Hospital Udhampur for medical examination while raids are being conducted by Police teams for arresting the accused, who has been identified as Bodh Raj (32) of Sundla in Majalta.
As per the complaint, the accused forced his entry into the house of victim and allegedly raped her when other members of the family were not present there.
