UDHAMPUR, Feb 29: 13 persons were injured in three different road accidents across Udhampur, here today.
According to the reports, an Alto car bearing registration number JK06A-4006, skidded off the road at By Pass National Highway near Malarh resulting into injuries to four members of a family from Doda. Locals and Rehambal Police took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur.
The injured were identified as Zubair Iqbal (30) son of Mohd Iqbal, Hamid Abdullah (60) son of Abishek Abdullah, Irfan (30) son of Hamid Abdullah and Ishrat Iqbal (22) wife of Anayat Iqbal.
Meanwhile, in another road accident, a Santro car was hit by a Tipper at Samroli near Dewal Bridge on the National Highway. Locals shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur. They were identified as Anku Sharma (26), son of Shiv Lal of Samroli and Neeraj Sharma (20) son of Makhan Lal of Tandaar Chenani.
Another road accident took place when a mini bus bearing registration number JK14B-9492 skidded off the road near Barta, resulting into minor injuries to seven persons.
The injured were identified as Som Raj (40) son of Hans Raj of Roun Domail, his wife Sushma Devi and son Vansh (14), Neha Devi (16) daughter of Mohinder Kumar of Khwwalla, Ranjeet Singh (38) son of Suram Singh of Kathil Ganju, Gian Chand (34) son of Zafo Ram of Chunta and Ajay Kumar (17) son of Ashok Kumar of Kunala.
