13 injured in collision of 2 mini-buses

SAMBA, May 9: Thirteen passengers were injured when two mini-buses collided head on with each other on Samba-Sumb road.
The mishap occurred near Ply Takki on the Samba-Sumb road this afternoon. As soon as the mishap occurred, local people came forward to help and informed the local police.
Police reached the spot and with the help of local people 9 injured persons were taken to Primary Health Center (PHC) Sumb and 4 were brought to District Hospital (DH) Samba. From the PHC Sumb all the injured were discharged after treatment.
Those shifted to DH Samba were identified as 38-year old Om Kumar son of Tara Mani, 40-year old Mohammad Narani son of Mohammad Dodha, 38-year old Geeta Devi wife of Om Kumar, 19-year-old Sonia daughter of Kartar Singh, all residents of Sumb.
In this context, concerned police had registered a case and started further investigation.
