SRINAGAR: As many as 122 personnel of Jammu and Kashmir police were promoted to next grade, a police spokesman said here on Saturday evening.
He said Director General of Police (DGP) Dr S P Vaid today ordered promotions in favour of 10 Assistant Sub-Inspectors to the rank of Sub-Inspector and 112 Selection Grade Constables (SGCTs) to the rank of Head Constable (HC).
He said those ASIs promoted to SIs are Abdul Rashid, Mumin Ahmad, Mukhtar Ahmad, Firdous Ahmad Bhat, Surinder Kumar, Niyaz Rahim, Rajesh Kumar Raina, Imtiyaz Ahmad, Imran Iqbal and Hilal Ahmed.
The DGP has also ordered promotion of 112 SGCTs to the rank of HCs. (AGENCIES)
