JAMMU, Oct 17: An 112 years old woman Mulo Devi widow of Choudhary Shiv Ram breathed here last today at village Nanyal in Nowshera tehsil of Rajouri district.
She was among the few centurions in Jammu and Kashmir.
Mulo Devi was originally a resident of Bhimber, now in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) but had settled along with her husband at Nanyal, Nowshera after the partition. She has five sons and one daughter. She was cremated at her native town in Nanyal today. The cremation was attended by a large number of people.
SHO Domana Inspector Vijay Choudhary happened to be one of the grandsons of Mulo Devi.
