JAMMU, Oct 16: Pouni Chak police rescued 11 bovine animals and seized the truck.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Pouni Chak police post laid a naka and intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK02AA-2429.
During checking, police rescued 11 bovine animals and seized the truck, while the smugglers managed to escape from the spot.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Domana police station and manhunt has been launched to nab the accused smugglers.
Police team led by Incharge Pouni Chak police post SI Sumit Magotra rescued the bovines under the supervision of Incharge SHO Domana Inspector Ravi Kant, SDPO Domana SK Sharma and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
