NEW DELHI: Stating that disturbance hasn’t deter students from joining National Cadets Corps (NCC) in Jammu Kashmir, Director General Lt Gen BS Sahrawat said a total of 109 cadets will participate in the Republic Day parade on January 26, which is three more than last year.
On being asked about has terror related activities affected the enrollment, Lt Gen Sahrawat said, “The number of cadets from Jammu and Kashmir has risen in comparison to last year. The total strength was 106 last year. This year three more cadets are participating and all of them are girls.” (AGENCIES)
