POONCH, Sept 18: District Transport authorities today seized ten tractor trolleys for illegal operation and imposed a heavy fine on the operators.
Official sources said that on the basis of public complaint about the illegal operation of tractor trolleys in the district, a team of Transport Department led by ARTO Poonch, Abdul Rahim, launched special drive today and seized 10 tractor trolleys. He also imposed heavy fine on the operators. The authorities would continue this special drive in the entire area for next couple of days. He also appealed to the bike riders to use crash helmet or face heavy fine and even seizure of the two-wheelers.
