10-day orientation workshop by BSS concludes at Billawar

KATHUA, June 22: The 10 -day long teachers training orientation workshop was organized by Bharatiya Shiksha Samiti (BSS)J&K from June 10 to June 20 at Sant Bal Yogeshwar, Bharatiya Vida Mandir Dadwara Phinter, Billawar.
The programme was inaugurated by Hem Chander Ji , national secretary, Vidya Bharti Delhi. The closing ceremony was held in the school auditorium in which Surinder Attri general secretary, Vidya Bharti North Zone was the chief guest.
Pardeep Kumar Sangathan Mantri, BSS J&K presented the Samitis report regarding the functioning of Vidya Bharti schools in the State. At present 38 schools are functioning from pre-primary level to secondary level in Jammu and Ladakh province of J&K with the moral support of Vidya Bharti and Society.
Vijay Kumar, State co-ordinator Teacher Training and incharge of the orientation workshop presented the welcome address. In this programme 43 selected teachers from eleven Vidya Mandir Schools of Kishtwar, Udhampur, Reasi, Billawar, Basholi, Kathua and Jammu were given special orientation on  spoken English, Vedic Mathematics, Science, Hindi, S St, Physical Education, Yoga, Music, Sanskrit, Moral, spiritual education, rich cultural diversity of Bharat and J&K.
Surinder Attri highlighted role of Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K in inculcating rich cultural knowledge to trainee teachers. Charan Dass Gupta president School Management Committee presented vote of thanks.
