10- day long Hyderabadi food festival starts at Hotel KC Residency

JAMMU, Aug 30: As a part of the food festivals, the 10 day -long Hyderabadi food festival will start at Hotel KC Residency here from tomorrow.
The festival will be hosted by celebrity chef , Rehman Qureshi and his team of Khan Samans (cooks) from Hyderabad.  This was disclosed at a press conference here today by Rahul Jandyal Operational Manager Hotel K C Residency along with Executive chef, Digvijay Singh and Mr Qureshi.
He said the unlimited vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes of Hyderabad will be served in the festival to the customers. This is the second festival of the series organised by Hotel K C Residency. Earlier Awadi food festival was held in the Hotel in which the cuisines pet to Nawabs were served, he added.
Mr Jandyal said the Hyderabadi dishes are best enjoyed in the traditional Shahi Dastarkhan  (the royal dinning hall). It is a conventional dining place where the ancient royal families relaxed and relished on the Hyderabadi cuisine.  Keeping this thing in view and in continuation of series of festivals Hotel KC Residency will be serving this delicious cuisine coupled with their remarkable hospitality at Falak the revolving restaurant, he added.
He said an array of gourmet delicacies featuring world famous Kebabs (Lagan ke Kebab, Pathar ka Gosht, Shikham Puri Kebab etc) Salan n Curries ( Hyderabadi Haleem, Dal Gosht, Hyderabadi Dalcha, Bhuna Gosht, Paneer Shahjahani) Talli Machli ka Salan, Bagharae Baingan, Biryanis (Hyderabadi Kache Gosht Ki Biryani, Sofyani Murg Biryani etc will be served to customers during the festival.
He said the people were earlier knowing that Hyderabadi means vegetarian and the KC Residency has broken the myth by offering unmatched, unrivaled and outstanding range of vegetarian options like Hyderabadi Marak Shorba, Subz Haleem, Bhutte ke kebab, Kabuli Chena Kebab, Dahi Ke Kebab, Aloo Ke Garley, Baingan Mirchi Ka Salan, Nizami Paneer, Aloo ki Tehri Pulao, Sheermal and Baqarkhani etc.
