RAJOURI, Sept 16: The police seized 10 bovine animals from village Tredu in Kalakote sub division under Dharamsal police jurisdiction last night.
Reports said that police party led by SHO Dharamsal, Insp Mohd Bashir during naka under the supervision of ASP Nowshera, Rakesh Kumar intercepted ten bovine animals being taken on-foot towards Kandi-Budhal and then to Valley via Shopian last mid night. Two persons accompanying the cattle managed to escape taking cover of the darkness. The police registered a case FIR No. 89/2015 in this connection and seized all the ten animals. It also launched manhunt for the alleged smugglers.
