RAJOURI, July 27: The police rescued ten bovine animals from Khandli area and arrested two smugglers last night.
Official sources said that a police party led by SHO Rajouri Sameer Jillani during routine checking intercepted two smugglers along with 10 bovine animals at Khandli bridge last mid night. They were moving on foot and failed to produce any valid document.
Both were arrested and the cattle rescued by police. A case FIR No. 378/ 2020 was registered against them. They were identified as Khalid Hussain and Mohd Hussain from Saranoo village in Rajouri.
