Zulfkar, Haq review physical, financial achievements under various sectors

RAJOURI, Mar 15: Minister for CA&PD and Tribal Affairs, Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali today chaired a meeting of officers of district Rajouri to review the physical and financial achievements registered under various sectors during annual plan 2014-15.
Minister for Rural Development Department, Abdul Haq Khan, besides Legislators Qammar Choudhary, Ravinder Raina and Vibodh Gupta were also present in the meeting.
The Ministers received brief about the schools upgraded under RMSA, SSA and others schemes.
Ch Zulfkar directed the PDD for upgrading the workshop facility in the district, so that any damaged transformer gets repaired within couple of days only besides directed the district administration for early functioning of PHC at Doodaj.
While receiving brief on the status of road network, the Minister directed for early completion of Rajouri- Budhal and Rajouri- Kandi roads besides directing the DDC to prepare a DPR for the construction of hostels for Gujjar & Bakerwal and Pahari students.
Taking serious note of complaints received on account of disbursement of funds under SDRF, the Minister directed the DDC to constitute a Committee in this regard, which shall submit report within a month.
He also directed Assistant Director CA&PD for ensuring proper distribution of ration within fixed time, exhorting officers to be proactive towards people’s needs and grievances.
Addressing the meeting, Minister for Rural Development, Abdul Haq Khan called for judicious utilization the funds and asked officers to conduct frequent field visits to ascertain ground level implementation of schemes.
Earlier, District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Deepti Uppal briefed the meeting about the physical and financial achievements registered under PDD, R&B, Health, Agriculture, Education and PHE/Irrigation & Flood Control sectors.
