JAMMU, Mar 26: Zonal Gender Coordinators demanded regularization of their services and enhancement in the honorarium.
Addressing a press conference, Suman Bala, president, Zonal Gender Coordinators said that they were appointed under SSA on contractual basis and are working in different ZEO officers in the State since 2006.
She said that a total of 145 Zonal Gender Coordinators are working despite sanctioned strength of 199.
“We are highly qualified and are working on zonal levels to carry out the mission of SSA, but till date they were not regularized”, she alleged.
Suman demanded regularization of their services and also enhancement in their honorarium at par with their counterparts including computer assistants, auditors and drivers.
Among others present were Reeta Gupta, vice president, Jyoti Devi, secretary, Anita Sharma, cashier and Trishna Sharma, assistant cashier.
