JAMMU, June 19: School Education Department today ordered suspension of Manzoor Ahmed Bhat, Zonal Education Officer, Trehgam, Kupwara with immediate effect and an inquiry into the allegations against him.
Pending inquiry into his conduct, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat has been placed under suspension in pursuance of rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil services (classification, control and Appeal) rules, 1956.
During the period of his suspension, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat shall remain attached with the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir.
Mohammad Rouf Rehman, Joint director (Central) in the Directorate of School Education Kashmir shall conduct an inquiry in the matter and submit a report along with his recommendations within one month.
