SAMBA, Sept 2: Yuva World Brahman Federation (YWBF) held a meeting at Vijaypur, in Samba district today which was organized by Anshu Sharma Secretary, YWBF and was presided by Pandit Tarsem Sharma WBF president and Parshotam Sharma its general secretary, Dakhseesh Sharma, YBWF president JKUT was the special invitee of the programme. Dozens of youth from Vijaypur joined YWBF and a committee was also constituted in which Rajinder Sharma was announced as president of YWBF Vijaypur and Ashok Sharma as working president.
Addressing the gathering Pandit Tarsem Sharma appealed all to strengthen the organization and to work together for upliftment and betterment of Brahman community. He appealed to newly appointed LG, Manoj Sinha for establishment of Brahman Kalyan Board and announce an economic package for Pundits, priests etc who are facing hard times during this COVID Pandemic.
Dakhseesh Sharma, while addressing the gathering said that YWBF will announce all units of Jammu province in coming weeks and then will work together for establishment of Brahman Kalyan Board which is the core demand of their organization. He said they are trying best to help the needy families of the community to provide all possible help including the much needed education. He further emphasized on re-establishing the temples in the Kashmir Valley which were affected due to militancy in past so many years.
Others who were present during the meeting included Rajeev Sharma, Pandit Radhe Sham Sharma, Ram Sharma, Thoru Ram, Sukhdev Sharma, Suram Chand, Suresh Sharma, Rahul Sharma, Prem Chand Sharma etc.
