JAMMU, Mar 28: Arya Pratinidhi Sabha J&K under the guidance of Sarvdeshik Arya Pratinidhi Sabha and Delhi Arya Pratinidhi Sabha organized first “Yuvak-Yuvti Parichay Sammelan” at Arya Samaj, Bakshi Nagar.
Ram Prasad and Arvind Pandey, National Coordinators of Yuvak-Yuvti Parichay Sammelan from Kota, Rajasthan graced the occasion.
Ram Prasad explained that in recently introduced “Yuvak-Yuvati Parichay Sammelan”, personal meetings of marriageable young boys and girls along with their guardians are arranged at one place.
He informed that during the Sammelan boys and girls can express their views about the life partner to whom they would like to be married. Face to face interactions with each other helps them in taking some positive decisions, he added.
Acharya Vidya Bhanu Shastri, a renowned Vedic Scholar presided over the function, who while speaking made a reference to Maharishi Dayanand Sarswati, a Great Saint and founder of Arya Samaj, who in his book titled “Sanskarvidhi–a chapter Vivah Sanskar” had clearly mentioned that selection of a girl and a boy for their marriage should be made only by matching their personal qualities, workings and nature.
In the end, Rakesh Chohan, President Arya Pratinidhi Sabha J&K, presented vote of thanks.
