‘Yuva Kaushal Karyashala’ concludes at IIIM

JAMMU, May 25: The ‘Yuva Kaushal Karyashala 4.0’, a 10-day hands-on training programme in Biological Sciences and Hackathon 4.0, concluded here today at CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine.
The programme was organised by the Technology Business Incubator (IIIM-TBI) of CSIR-IIIM under the guidance of Dr. Zabeer Ahmed, Director, CSIR-IIIM Jammu.
Addressing the participants, Dr. Zabeer Ahmed emphasised the growing role of science in modern society.
He extended open invitation to the students for future academic interaction and research-related guidance at CSIR-IIIM.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Saurabh Saran, Senior Principal Scientist, Fermentation and Microbial Biotechnology Division and Principal Investigator, IIIM-TBI, presented an overview of Hackathon 4.0 and highlighted the activities conducted during the 10-day programme.
Dr. Asha Chaubey, Senior Principal Scientist and Head of Fermentation and Microbial Biotechnology Division, also addressed the gathering and appreciated the enthusiasm and dedication shown by the students throughout the programme.
The valedictory session commenced with the welcome of dignitaries by Dr. Vidushi Abrol, Business Manager, IIIM-TBI.
Faculty members including Dr. Suphla B. Gupta, Scientist-F, Plant Sciences and Agrotechnology Division, along with other scientists and officials, were also present on the occasion.
The programme concluded with the award ceremony and vote of thanks.
