JAMMU, Feb 6: Senior BJP leader and MLA Jammu East Constituency, Yudhvir Sethi, along with JMC Commissioner Devansh Yadav, held a Janata Darbar in Ward 71, Sararabad area, to address public grievances and resolve civic issues.
During the event, local residents raised concerns related to sanitation, water supply, road maintenance, drainage problems, street lighting, and other civic amenities.
They also requested improvements in waste management, sewage systems, and electricity services. In response, Yudhvir Sethi assured the residents that necessary actions would be taken quickly in coordination with the relevant departments.
He emphasized the BJP’s commitment to “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas,” and promised to work towards providing better infrastructure and services while ensuring transparent governance.
JMC Commissioner Devansh Yadav also addressed the gathering, assuring that the Municipal Corporation is working to upgrade civic amenities and will take immediate action on the issues raised.
He urged the public to cooperate in maintaining cleanliness and following waste disposal guidelines.
Earlier, Sethi held a public grievances camp at Pt Prem Nath Dogra Bhawan, Kacchi Chawni, Jammu, where he listened to more concerns from the public.
Sethi reaffirmed that the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a developed and self-reliant India is being implemented at the grassroots level.
He urged people to actively participate in development initiatives and assured them that the BJP will continue working for the welfare of the Jammu region.
The event concluded with Sethi reiterating his commitment to making Jammu East a model constituency through continuous development efforts.
