JAMMU, May 13: With the intervention of J&K BJP vice-president Yudhvir Sethi, the issues of BC Road transporters have been amicably solved.
The District Administration recently issued some restrictions on the parking of buses in the BC Road area which the transporters accepted but thereafter, the authorities suddenly denied permission to the transporters to run their business smoothly on the BC Road.
The affected transporters then approached Ashutosh Gupta, convener of J&K BJP Transport Cell, who along with the transporters met Yudhvir Sethi and highlighted the issues they were facing due to unnecessary restrictions imposed by officials of the District Administration due to which their travel-related business was being affected badly.
Acting swiftly, Yudhvir Sethi immediately took up the matter with Deputy Commissioner Jammu and effectively resolved the issue in a collaborative manner. His proactive intervention led to the amicable resolution of the matter, alleviating the burdens faced by the traders.
Expressing his commitment to the welfare of the business community, Yudhvir Sethi said that the BJP has always stood shoulder to shoulder with the business community, which plays a vital role in driving economic growth, creating employment opportunities, and contributing to the overall development of the region.
Sethi lauded the role of the business community as indispensable contributors to the socio-economic fabric of the region, acknowledging their resilience, innovation, and dedication towards fostering prosperity and progress for all.
