Later, on the intervention of senior Police officers and ADC Law & Order Minga Shirpa, who assured to take up the matter with the UT administration, the protest was suspended by the Rajput Sabha with a warning to the Government to declare holiday on birth anniversary of Maharaja within few days otherwise the Sabha will organize a Tiranga rally on 15th August and sit with their tents near Maharaja’s statue till Government declares holiday on September 23.
