RAJOURI, June 26: Mystery shrouds the death of a 20-year-old youth whose dead body was found hanging from a tree near house at village Bal Jaralan this morning while another youth died after he allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his home at Dudasan Balla this afternoon.
A police spokesman giving details said that dead body of 20-year-old Rajan Sharma, son of Chet Ram, resident of Bal Jaralan was noticed by a villager hanging from a tree during early morning. He rushed to the nearby house of the victim and narrated the matter. The family told that Rajan after taking dinner went to sleep in his room and there after he was not seen and it was presumed that he must have gone for attending call of nature to the fields.
The Police party arrived at the spot which was hardly 50 mtrs away from his house. The body was shifted to District hospital for postmortem and then handed over to the family for last rites. The police registered a case and started investigation.
Meanwhile, 25-year-old Zaffar Hussain, son of Bagh Ali, resident of Dudasan Balla near Rajouri became serious after he consumed some poisonous substance at his home this afternoon. The family members noticed him writhing in pain and cough oozing out of his mouth, and then rushed him to Rajouri Hospital. The doctors declared him as brought dead.
The police has registered a case and started investigation into the matter.
