RAJOURI, Mar 5: The dead body of a young villager was found hanging from a tree in Kotranka area of district Rajouri late last evening.
Official sources said that body of one Mohd Manzoor (33), son of Shair Mohd, resident of Kewal village in Tehsil Koteranka was found hanging from a tree near about one kilometer away from his house in suspicious condition at around 7 pm on Friday.
The family was looking for him. A villager noticed him and informed family. Later, police was informed about the incident. The police examined the spot and then shifted it for postmortem to Kotranka hospital. An inquest proceeding u/s 174 CrPC has been initiated at Police Station Budhal. Police is suspecting some foul play behind the incident.
