Youth totally impressed with pro-poor policies of Modi: Pawan

UDHAMPUR, Feb 21: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a programme here, today under the chairmanship of senior vice president of J&K BJP, Pawan Khajuria in which various projects and welfare schemes under taken for J&K UT and Kathua -Udhampur-Doda Parliamentary constituency were highlighted.
On the occasion a large number of youth joined the party.
The function among others was addressed by BJP Sate Executive Member, Rakesh Gupta, senior BJP leader, Somm Raj, district vice president, Vikas Sharma, Mandal president, Udhampur, Vivek Gupta etc.
On the occasion the party leaders threw light on remarkable achievement of BJP in recently held District Development Council (DDC) elections in the J&K UT and also apprised the gathering about the future programmes of the party.
The newly entrants in BJP said that the present Government of BJP at Centre is working for the welfare of all people irrespective of their caste, creed, religion and region. They also specially highlighted the welfare schemes launched by Modi Government for farmers which had given them a lot of benefit.
Addressing the function youth activists said that Minister in PMO and local MP , Dr Jitendra Singh is particular for the welfare of the people of his constituency and the developmental projects brought by him in his constituency are praise worthy. They said he paid special attention for the development of Udhampur district and it is because of his intervention that the work on Devika rejuvenation has been intensified.
Welcoming new entrants in the party fold, BJP senior voice president, JK UT, Pawan Khajuria said that youth is impressed with the pro people and pro poor policies of BJP Government at Centre and they want to join the organization. The youth who joined BJP today want to work for the welfare and development of their respective areas, he added.
