JAMMU, Mar 15: A 30-year old youth allegedly tried to end his life by setting himself on fire, here in Talab Tillo area.
According to a police spokesperson, the youth identified as Ravi son of Bua Ditta, a resident of Gole Puli in Talab Tillo area, allegedly tried to kill him by setting self on fire in a closed room at his residence, this morning.
In the mishap, the youth received about 100 percent injuries and were immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be critical till the last reports came in.
The Talab Tillo police has taken cognizance of the matter.
In another incident at Kunjwani, a 30-year old youth identified as Sunil Kumar son of Babu Ram, injured in a stove blast incident occurred at his residence. He received about 78 % burn injuries and is undergoing treatment at GMCH.
