JAMMU, Jan 15: A young man today made an abortive attempt on his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Trikuta Nagar area of City outskirts, a police spokesman said.
He said the youth has been identified as Ganesh (22) son of Inderjeet Gupta. The family members immediately rushed him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
The concerned police said that they have taken cognizance of the matter but as the victim is still unfit for giving any statement, they could not say anything why he took this extreme step.
