JAMMU, Dec 1: Bakshi Nagar police arrested a youth along with large quantity of intoxicant capsules.
As per police sources, during checking near Pawan Ice Cream, police apprehended a drug peddler along with 84 intoxicant tablets.
The accused has been identified as Nitin Sharma, son of Harbans Lal, a resident of Sarwal.
A case under FIR Number 151/15 under Section 8/21/22 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against the drug peddler at Bakshi Nagar police station and more arrests and recoveries are likely to be made in near future.
Police team led by SHO Bakshi Nagar police station Inspector Ashwani Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of Incharge SDPO West Vivek Shekhar, SP City Shiv Kumar Singh Chouhan and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
