JAMMU, Nov 18: Police today arrested a Punjab youth in the City here and recovered Rs 800 worth fake currency from his possession.
The youth has been identified as Rajvinder Singh, a resident of Patiala district in Punjab.
Pacca Danga police recovered one fake note in the denomination of 500 and three fake notes in the denomination of 100 from the possession of accused.
A case FIR No. 189/2013 under Section 498 RPC has been registered against the youth at Pacca Danga police station.
Police have taken up further investigations in the case.
