MENDHAR, Mar 9: The Army soldiers held a local youth with fake Army and Canteen card at Bhimber Gali Canteen in Mendhar and handed over to police.
The accused has been identified as Mohd Tariq (22), son of Mohd Bashir, resident of Surankote. The youth was held for questioning when he went to Army Canteen at Bhimber Gali yesterday. The Army found his card as fake. He was keeping Army card which also was found fake. He was detained for several hours in the unit.
Later, he was handed over to Gursai police. The police registered a case FIR No. 15/ 2014 against him and started investigation. An Army uniform was also recovered from his possession at home.
