JAMMU, Feb 2: A youth was found hanging this afternoon at his residence in lower Roop Nagar area of city outskirts.
“The deceased was identified as Rajesh Dutta (30) son of Surinder Pal Dutta, resident of House No 44, Sector 5, lower Roop Nagar, Jammu”, a police official said, adding, the youth was found hanging in the bathroom with an iron pipe.
He said that the body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu where after conducting postmortem, it was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. In this connection, Janipur police had initiated inquest proceedings under 174 crPC.
