JAMMU, Dec 30: A youth was today found hanging with a tree in Nagrota area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, today at about 12:30 PM, Nagrota police received a call that a youth of age about 24-25 years is hanging with a tree inside KHN Hospital boundary in Nagrota area.
He said that a team of police reached the spot and shifted the body of the deceased, who was later identified as Tarseem Lal son of Raju, resident of Khalati Kore, Jagir Nagrota, at Sub District Hospital, Dansal.
“After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites”, he said, adding, inquest proceedings in this connection was initiated by Nagrota police.
