UDHAMPUR May 28: Mystery shrouded death of a youth at his residence in Kallar as family members of the deceased alleged that it was a murder and not suicide.
The deceased, identified as Sunil Kumar (23), son of Narayan Dutt of Kallar was found unconscious in his room, late last night. He was rushed to hospital by the family members but doctors declared him as brought dead.
It was an apparent case of suicide by consuming poison but family members of the deceased expressed apprehension that Sunil Kumar could have been murdered. Without substantiating their claim, they only insisted that there was no reason of committing suicide by Sunil Kumar.
According to Police, there was no injury mark on body of the deceased. However, a case under Section 174 CrPC has been registered in this connection at Police Station Udhampur for further investigation and to ascertain cause of the death.
