MENDHAR, Mar 9: The body of a 22-year-old youth was recovered under suspicious circumstances in Mendhar Sub Division of Poonch district late last night, triggering panic in the area.
The deceased has been identified as Ifroz Ahmed, son of Mushtaq Ahmed, a resident of Ari village. Upon receiving information, police and family members reached the spot and shifted the body to Sub-District Hospital, Mendhar for medico-legal formalities.
Later, when the body was taken home, family members alleged foul play and suspected murder, demanding a fair and thorough investigation into the incident.
