POONCH, Dec 30: The dead body of a youth was found about 2 kms away from his house in Kalaban area of Mendhar this afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Yousuf Bin Latief (26), son of Mohd Latief, resident of Kalaban in Mankote tehsil of Mendhar Sub Division. He was missing since last evening and the family members were searching for him.
Some locals spotted the body lying in the bushes near the road today and informed police. Mendhar police party led by SHO Tahir Yousuf reached the spot and shifted it to SDH Mendhar for postmortem. An empty bottle of insecticide was also lying near the body.
His brother alleged that it was murder. He disclosed that Latief had some tiff with a youth of that area yesterday and he had threatened him. The police registered a case and started investigation.
