Youth for PK, KP Sabha commemorate Holocaust Day

JAMMU, Jan 18: Youth for Panun Kashmir, under the aegis of Panun Kashmir held an impressive programme to commemorate the Holocaust Day at Pune today.
A mega Cricket Tournament namely Homeland Cup was also part of the programme.
The programme was organised to make the people aware of the proposed Bill namely ‘Genocide and Atrocities Prevention Bill’ and distributed the same among the people.
Addressing on the occasion, Rahul Kaul, National President of Youth for Panun Kashmir said that the Bill comprehensively defines the crime of genocide committed against Hindus of Kashmir and the responses which are in line with International Customary Laws, Principles of Natural Justice and Rule of Law.
Rahul Razdan, General Secretary of Youth for Panun Kashmir said that since the Government of India has already recognised genocide of Hindus of Kashmir while imposing ban on JKLF, it is obligatory on part of the Union of India to enact a Law in India.
Rohit Bhat, Coordinator West and Chief Coordinator Yekjah said that this year Cricket Tournament under the theme ‘Yekjah’ is being organised for the community youth at Ajinkya DY Patil ground, Lohegaon in Pune.
Vithal Chowdhary, North Zone Coordinator and Digamber Raina, Coordinator NCR also expressed their firm resolve and conviction in the demand for separate homeland for the community.
Meanwhile, a function to commemorate Holocaust Day was organised by Kashmiri Pandit Sabha, Amphalla, Jammu today.
KK Khosa, President of Sabha presided over the function.
While speaking on the occasion, Mr Khosa recalled the 19th January 1990 ordeal which resulted in the murder mayhem and exodus of KP Community from ancestral place and birth land Kashmir.
